New Zealand’s has partnered with Indonesian airline Sriwijaya to prepare for growth in the Indonesian domestic travel market.

The system is the first fully cloud-based airline operations management system, designed by a team of industry professionals specifically for the airline industry. has combined the power of the latest software development technologies with a new approach in the way software is delivered and consumed to provide efficiencies in scalability and processing speed unheard of until now in comparable mission-critical enterprise software. combines Software as a Service (SaaS) principals for real-time data and web services enabled applications which are then deployed over a cloud platform.

This means Sriwijaya Air has been able to get up and running and fully integrated with the new system quickly and painlessly using a web browser, rather than a whole new IT system.

The system optimises daily aircraft and crew utilisation, controlling and reporting on core operational information.

This enables airlines to manage their business, achieve regulatory compliance, maximise operational efficiency and focus on scalable growth.

Cloud technology allows for the provision of mobile applications and social collaboration features to give airline users the ability to manage the airline from wherever they are, on whatever devices they want in a manner they are used to using every day.

“We see as an important technology partner allowing us to grow our business to meet the Indonesian domestic market’s increased demand for air travel,” said Jefferson Jauwena, Corporate Planning and Business Development Director, Sriwijaya Air.

“This partnership allows us to improve overall operational decision-making, automate previously manual tasks and distribute workflow to end stations.”
