Lovitt Technologies scores new Boeing contract

Boeing has awarded Lovitt Technologies a contract to manufacture housing assemblies and fittings for the V-22 Osprey aircraft.

This is the first contract for the manufacture of V-22 parts in Australia.

Lovitt Technologies has previously supported Boeing Aerostructures Australia on defence programs such as the F/A-18 Hornet, 737 Airborne Early Warning & Control and on multiple commercial programs.

"This is an important milestone in our long-term partnership with Boeing and we are excited at the opportunity," said Marcus Ramsay, Lovitt Technologies managing director.

"We thank the Defence Materiel Organisation and the Office of Australian Industry Capability for their efforts over the past few years and look forward to the year ahead."

During the past 50 years, Lovitt Technologies has evolved with the demands of its customers and embraced contemporary precision engineering technologies to offer enhanced capabilities in new markets.

Today, the company is a provider of precision machined components, parts and assemblies to customer design and specifications particularly within the aerospace and defence industries.
