Henkel Australia reports that since launching its TURCO 6930 hydrogen peroxide based environmentally friendly paint stripper in 2010 it has seen a
significant swing by the industry to use this product.
Henkel promotes TURCO 6930 as being a very effective paint stripper with widespread OEM approval that is less harmful to the environment, and safer to use than many of the other paint strippers on the market.
Henkel claims that the product is being used with great success in almost all segments of the industry from commercial airlines to general aviation, and its popularity indicates a preference by users to move towards “greener” products, particularly when those products perform as well or even better than more toxic alternatives.
Henkel also claims that TURCO 6930 is winning favour in Asia and the Henkel Australian plant located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne is a primary manufacturing source for product that is being exported to Asian countries.
Henkel Business Manager - Aviation, John Goulding, said that the fact that the product is approved by the major aircraft manufacturers including Airbus,
Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer and several others has been a great boost in establishing this product in the Asia Pacific region.
