The 12th Aviation Careers Expo is set to return this year on 25 August (Saturday) from 10am to 4pm at 25 Boronia Road, Brisbane International Airport.
This event is Australia’s largest and only aviation-dedicated careers expo, bringing together aviation industry experts to provide those with an interest in an aviation career an opportunity to meet with potential employers and aviation training organisations to seek advice on potential career paths.
It isn’t just an opportunity for career advice, but with a range of other aviation activities and events, visitors are promised an informative and fun-filled day with no entry fee.
More than 25 companies from across Australia and abroad are exhibiting at this major event, including Chopperline Flight Training, Defence Force Recruiting, CAE Oxford Aviation Academy, Swinburne University of Technology and Qantas Engineering.
It is a great opportunity for school leavers and those looking for a career change or re-training to have personal interaction with some of the industry’s most respected names.
There are some 40 career options available for visitors to explore at the Aviation Careers Expo.
The exhibitors are able to provide comprehensive advice on a range of aviation careers such as aircraft maintenance engineers, flight attendant, ground operations, airport operations, air traffic controllers and pilots.
“With this event in place, getting advice on a range of possible career paths in aviation is a simple process,” said Bill Horrocks, Chief Executive Officer of Aviation Australia, the host of Aviation Careers Expo.
“Industry experts are gathered under the same roof and it is a great platform for visitors with an interest to pursue an aviation career to have in-depth discussion with exhibitors about their prospective career paths.”
Visitors can look forward to several special showcases at this year’s event, including over 15 aircraft on static display, offering visitors an up close and personal experience with aircraft of different era.
A free flight simulator by GeoSim Technologies is also available onsite for visitors to take the controls and experience the ride of a lifetime in the pilot seat.
